Exploring the intersections of history, folklore, and the sea. 

I am a graduate of Exeter College of Art and Design. I live by the sea in Devon and am inspired by the folklore, maritime heritage, and coastal landscapes of the West Country. I’m fascinated by historical people, places and movements, mythological gods, strange tales of folklore, and popular tales such as the Arthurian legend. I often use symbolic composition in my work, bridging the gap between the historical and the mythical. I approach my work as a storyteller, using a diverse approach to explore the intersections of history, folklore, and the sea.
